WEEK 3:

3 players from the Green Bay Packers sat on the bench and did not rise for the National Anthem: Martellus Bennett, Lance Kendricks, and Kevin King. Bennett had previously stood with his "black power" fist raised in the previous two weeks. Week 3 saw large numbers of protestors in response to President Donald Trump's criticism of NFL players who sat or kneeled in protest of the National Anthem. Trump and most Americans believe this is a disrespect to the nation and to those who fought and died for it.

WEEK 2:

For the second week in a row, Martellus Bennett raised his fist over his head in the "black power" sign. Again, Bennett was the only protestor on the team in week 2.

WEEK 1:

In the opening game for the Green Bay Packers, Martellus Bennett protested the National Anthem by raising his fist over his head in the "black power" hate sign. Bennett was the sole player on the Packers team to protest.
