Marquise Goodwin, Eric Reid and Eli Harold kneeled in protest during the National Anthem.
WEEK 10:
Marquise Goodwin and Eric Reid kneeled during the National Anthem, while Louis Murphy raised his fist above his head in the radical "black power" sign. This is Murphy's first game since re-signing with the 49ers. This is also the week that the NFL is supposed to honor Veterans Day.
WEEK 9:
Marquise Goodwin, Eric Reid, K'Waun Williams and Eli Harold kneeled, while Adrian Colbert stood with his hand on Goodwins's shoulders - in support of the protest of the National Anthem.
WEEK 8:
Marquise Goodwin, Eric Reid, K'Waun Williams, Adrian Colbert and Eli Harold kneeled, while Reuben Foster (who kneeled last week) stood with his hand on Harold's shoulders - in support of the protest of the National Anthem.
WEEK 7:
7 players from the San Francisco 49ers protested in week 7 during the National Anthem: Marquise Goodwin, Eric Reid, K'Waun Williams, Adrian Colbert, Eli Harold and Reuben Foster all kneeled. We could not identify the 7th player. The 49ers have not won a single game this year, 0-7.
WEEK 6:
Unlike in previous weeks where 20-30 players protested, only 7 players from the San Francisco 49ers protested in week 6 during the National Anthem: Marquise Goodwin, Eric Reid, K'Waun Williams, Adrian Colbert, Eli Harold, Arik Armstead and Dekoda Watson. These players kneeled during the anthem.
* Fun Fact: The San Francisco 49ers team has been one of the most prominent and consistent protesting teams in the NFL. At week 6 with so much focus on protesting, they have lost every game so far this season and have an 0-6 record.
WEEK 5:
About 20 players from the San Francisco 49ers kneeled during the National Anthem, which is less than last week. Vice President Mike Pence stood for the national anthem and chose to leave stadium because he would not dignify events that disrespect our soldiers, our flag, and our National Anthem.
* Unfortunately, were not able to identify specifically by jersey number who all protested in week 5 due to limited photos/video proof.
WEEK 4:
Nearly 30 players from the San Francisco kneeled in protest during the National Anthem, including: Carlos Hyde, Raheem Mostert, Pierre Garcon, Marquise Goodwin, Victor Bolden Jr., Eric Reid, K'Waun Williams, Jimmie Ward, Lorenzo Jerome, Jaquiski Tartt, Rashard Robinson, Adrian Colbert, Elijah Lee, NaVorro Bowman, Ray-Ray Armstrong, Reuben Foster, Eli Harold, Aaron Lynch, Earl Mitchell, Arik Armstead, and Dekoda Watson. The protestors stood in one row in front while the patriots who stood for the National Anthem stood in a row behind them. It is the largest protest so far this season for the San Francisco 49ers.
WEEK 3:
Eric Reid continued his protest of being the sole player kneeling for the National Anthem and about 10 players laid a hand on his shoulder in support.
WEEK 2:
Eric Reid for the second week in a row was the sole 49ers protestor on the team. About 10 players again stood and put a hand on his shoulder in support.
WEEK 1:
Eric Reid was the first and only San Francisco 49ers player to protest the National Anthem this season. 10 players stood and put a hand on his shoulder in support.
